Associate Professor Elio Leturia to Present Latest Documentary at the Fulbright Association Conference

Established on February 27, 1977, the Fulbright Association is the official U.S. alumni organization of the Fulbright Program, representing 140,000 U.S. alumni – 70 years of Fulbrighters since the program’s inception— and friends of international education.
This conference, titled "Where does the world go from here?" is completely virtual. The Education panel discusses approaches to creativity in instructional design, decolonialization and anti-racist practices, including Leturia’s unreleased documentary that showcases how racism, indifference, and exclusion play a role in the Chicago train transportation system, after midnight. The production documentary team includes Columbia College Cinema Art + Science alumn James Moy, and Music Composition for the Screen master’s graduate Gonzalo Varela.
