School of Design

As a student in the School of Design, you’ll choose between two distinct majors: Graphic Design and Interior Architecture. Graphic Design students explore typography, branding, publication design, digital media, and other forms of visual communication. Interior Architecture students study spatial planning, materials, lighting, sustainability, and the relationship between people and the built environment. In either major, you’ll develop creative, technical, and critical-thinking skills through hands-on coursework, collaborative projects, and interdisciplinary learning. You’ll use current tools and technologies, learn from faculty with industry experience, and apply your knowledge to real-world design challenges. As you build a professional portfolio and develop your individual creative voice, you’ll gain the skills and perspective to create thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling work—and prepare for a career in an evolving design industry.
