External scholarships are funds that you apply for and receive from any source not affiliated with 汤不热视频. These scholarships can be from a community religious, or professional organization, or even your high school. Take a look around; you might be surprised by how many awards are available.

There are many small scholarships out there that could add up for you. We're certain that your own search will turn up some that we didn't find.

Some websites are devoted to aggregating scholarships from across the internet. Each of the sites listed below could be a good place to start your search.

  • American Indian College Fund

    The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college students who are enrolled in certificate, undergraduate, or graduate programs at tribal colleges and universities, or nonprofit, accredited schools.

  • American Legion

    offers a number of scholarships and other resources to assist young people in their pursuit of higher education. There are opportunities for everyone, including kin of wartime veterans and participants in Legion programs.

  • APIA Scholars

    APIA Scholars provides Scholarships, Student Success Programs and Research and Partnerships that lower financial barriers with a focus on those most in need, empowers college to career success for our Scholars and elevates belonging and inclusion for all students.

  • Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association

    The offers awards based on merit and leadership. Many awards are geared towards technology or military based careers.

  • Hispanic Scholarship Fund

    HSF empowers students and parents with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete a higher education, while providing support services and scholarships to as many exceptional students, HSF Scholars and Alumni as possible.

  • Human Rights Campaign

    The is an organization dedicated to improving the rights of the LGBT community and has scholarship information for individuals who identify with the LGBT community.

  • NAACP

    The NAACP offers need-based and mert scholarships each year to outstanding and qualified students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees as part of their Inspire Initiatives program. 

  • Native Forward Scholars Fund
    The Native Forward Scholars Fund provides financial support for American Indians and Alaska Natives seeking higher education and support them in obtaining undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees. We partner with Tribes, the federal government, foundations, corporations, and individuals to ensure the growth and sustainability of scholarships.

  • Paralyzed Veterans of America

    has scholarship programs devised to provide some financial reprieve for PVA members and their families so that they may achieve their goals in the academic arena.

  • Veterans of Foreign Wars

    has scholarships designed to assist service members and veterans with financial assistance for college as a way of saying "thank you" to our service men and women.

Informational Sites

  • CheapScholar.org

    is largely an informational site. They have articles about budgeting for college, how to be money smart, comparing private loan lenders, scholarship application tips as well as information on how to avoid scholarship scams.

  • FinAid.org

    is a great site if you're looking for general information on financial aid, loans, FAFSA and/or military benefits.

  • Scholarships4School.com

    focuses on helping students find external scholarships and doesn't deal with FAFSA or federal aid.

  • StudentAid.gov

    is the Department of Education's site on federal financial aid. It has information on preparing for college, what types of aid are available, what you might be eligible for, how to apply for financial aid and information about repaying your loans after you graduate.

    The National Association of Foreign Student Advisors maintains a with information of use to students coming to the United States from abroad.

    provides financial aid and scholarships resources to international students interested in or already studying in the USA.
