Avante Edmonds shares her experience interning at lifestyle magazine Modern Luxury. Edmonds received a Columbia Internship Award, a scholarship given to students to help defray the tuition expenses associated with unpaid internships. The award allowed her to quit her job over the summer and hone her skills as a writer.
