    The Dance Center provides students with a superior contemporary dance education in the context of a world-class, nationally recognized dance performance season. Since its doors first opened in 1969, the Dance Center at 汤不热视频 has presented hundreds of professional companies and choreographers.

  • March 31–April 3, 2026, 7: 30 p.m.

    This inaugural festival highlights four student-run dance organizations at 汤不热视频, open to all majors and representing ballet, Hip Hop, mixed styles, and K-pop. Each evening features a different group: Columbia Renegades Ballet Company (March 31), Renegades Hip Hop Dance Crew (April 1), and C2K (April 3).

  • April 24, 2026, 7:30 p.m

    This one-night Midwest premiere by Marcel Gbeffa (Benin) and Sarah Trouche (France) is an evening-length work for five dancers and 21 mahogany masks, inspired by the Guèlèdè traditions honoring Ìyá Nlá, the Yoruba primordial spirit of creation. Blending the intimate and the political, “Didę” explores how identity, tradition, oppression, and emancipation are carried and expressed through the human body.

  • March 5-7, 2026, sets at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

    Resident artist Philip Lassiter performs in a pair of residency concerts featuring the Columbia College Jazz Ensemble, Fusion Ensemble, and Latin Ensemble. Presented as part of Lassiter’s campus residency, the evening highlights student musicians alongside a Grammy Award–winning trumpeter, arranger, and producer in a live club setting.

    The Musical Theater Ensemble takes the stage for its midterm concert, featuring student performers in a dynamic evening of musical theatre selections.     This devised and interactive performance explores the idea of monsters—from childhood fears to the edges of the known world. Audience members move throughout the space during the performance and may be required to stand for periods of time; late seating is not permitted. Performances include previews on March 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m.; opening night on March 13 at 7:30 p.m.; March 14 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; March 18–20 at 7:30 p.m.; and March 21 at 2 p.m.

    Based on Alison Bechdel’s acclaimed graphic memoir, “Fun Home” is a groundbreaking musical that explores family, identity, and memory through the lens of a daughter coming into her own while uncovering her father’s secrets. With music by Jeanine Tesori and book and lyrics by Lisa Kron, the production blends humor and heartbreak into an intimate, deeply human story. Performances take place on April 30 at 7:30 p.m. (preview); May 1 at 7:30 p.m. (opening); May 2 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; May 6–8 at 7:30 p.m.; and May 9 at 2 p.m.

    Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Museum of Contemporary Photography presents a milestone exhibition examining how its collection has evolved since the museum’s founding. Featuring rarely exhibited and newly acquired works from across five decades, the exhibition traces shifting artistic, cultural, and institutional values—highlighting changes in representation, expanding definitions of photography, and the role museums play in shaping the photographic canon.
